Max thought the answer was fairly obvious.
“Did we create God? Or did God create us?” He said confidently.
“No,” Shard smiled. “That’s not it.”
“Well?” Max said, defiantly.
“Did we create God or did God create us is an old question, perhaps our first great question. And it’s certainly caused centuries of fiery debate. But it’s in itself suggestive of no answer. It merely invites us to speculate. The final question, however, suggests a path toward the answer. If everyone wanted to see God at the same time – would God appear is not only a question we need to ask, it’s a question we will ultimately need to answer. Humanity needs to know if there is a God. Otherwise…” Shard said, looking intently at the camera, “we’ll end up destroying the world.”
