“Have you heard anything more about the Australian?”

“Apparently he’s dumped his passport and his money and taken off into the night.”

“So… he’s finally done it,” John said. “Well… at the end of the day, so what?”

“Well… there may be a problem. I’m told the sadhus are making some kind of film.”

“What’s this… reality T.V. gone mad?” John asked with a chuckle.

“Maybe… but… the whisper on the street is that they’ve got the guy fully wired – I mean fully wired. But this is strictly between the two of us. It’s not confirmed and I don’t want it out there.”

“So he’s wired? That doesn’t really change anything, does it?”

“What if I told you that this renunciation is being filmed through the guy’s own eyes.”

“What… like a… a reality thing?”

“No – I mean, from within his actual eyes!”

John was stunned, rendered momentarily speechless!

“Hunter, are you telling me that they’ve actually implanted a camera in his eye? Is that possible?”

The President laughed at the shock on his friends face –

“That’s the claim. And I’m told the technology is there.”

“What does everyone think about this? I mean how seriously are we supposed to be taking it?”

Hunter. J. Stirling shrugged.

“I’m not sure who even knows about it yet. I’m certainly keeping it to myself.”

“Who do you think is backing this?”

“That’s a good question. I’m quietly hoping it’s all quite innocent. Frankly, I’d like to think it’s just some sadhus trying to open our minds a little.”

“But… a camera in his eye? That’s not sounding too innocent.”

“That’s the problem.”
